The company also collaborates with a network of experts around the world, who are professionals in their field and participate in European projects when their expertise is needed. This Gender Equality Plan (GEP) is committed to following practices in place which are aligned with national and European legislation. The company operates mostly remotely the Czech Republic. Due to the small size of the company, the gender data are collected automatically together with official reporting, also to the companies register. Part of the company’s freelance staff is trained in gender aspects and actively participating in these initiatives in Europe. The provision of good working conditions for all freelance staff which allow both men and women to have the flexibility for a healthy work-life balance to reach optimal performance levels. Kukhula-Tech sro offers the below to all its freelancers: fully remote working; options to work reduced hours, where possible; flexible working time arrangements, including how departmental processes, procedures and practices impact on freelancers with caring responsibilities; workload management, including how different tasks are allocated and distributed; advice and support on work-life balance. Kukhula-Tech sro has a sole director who are also the owner of the company, as well as a network of external experts who participate in projects when their expertise is needed. Recently Kukhula-Tech sro has 60% female and 40% male freelancers. Kukhula-Tech sro is committed to ensuring that all its processes and communication are gender neutral in both intention and the language used. The purpose of gender neutral language is to encourage freelancers to give due consideration to the issue of gender sensitivity in language whenever writing or speaking. The company follows non-discriminatory treatment irresxpective of religion or religious belief, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, political orientation and racial or ethnic origin. As a remote company with freelancers who communicate mainly through video calls, email and business platforms, the focus is to encourage respect, trust and camaraderie amongst colleagues.
