Vincas Sruoginis

Vincas is a New York & Vilnius-based award-winning filmmaker, commercial director, editor, and educator. His 2014 film, The Invisible Front, won best picture at the Vilnius International Film Festival and was nominated in four categories at The Silver Crane Awards. The Invisible Front maintains a 100% Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes.

In 2015 Vincas was invited to join the European Film Academy in Berlin and since 2021 Vincas has been teaching a graduate course on documentary film editing at The Craig Newmark School of Journalism in New York.
In 2020 Vincas created a series of short documentaries for the PBS American Portrait series. One of his shorts was featured in the companion book released in 2021.
In 2023 his narrative feature film project “War Torn” was awarded development funding from the Creative Europe MEDIA program.

He is currently in production on two documentary films “To My Family & Friends” and “Free Radicals: The Dog Eat" Documentary.
